I took a little break from my break in Chiang Mai. I took a 4 hours bus ride up North, spent a night in Chiang Rai. Chiang Rai is the northernmost large city close to the Lao border. The main attraction and my primary objective here was to marry a ladyboy in the famous White Temple.
All ladyboys got married that day, but I took some photos of this incredible building. 2 buildings actually, as there was an unexpected beauty next door.
The White Temple or Wat Rong Khun is a quite recently built Buddhist Temple, which is quite unique on the world. First you go through the Bridge of Cycle Of Rebirth, which crosses a pond with big fishes. Before you step on the bridge you see myriads of raising hands which symbolize unbridled desire. Right after the white temple, I saw a gorgeous golden building which I learned that represents how folks focus on material desires. The white temple suggests to focus on the mind, instead of material desires.

Tartottam egy kis szunetet a Chiang Mai szunetem alatt es egy 4 oras busz ut utan megerkeztem Chiang Raiba. Chiang Rai a legeszakabbi nagyobb varos, a laoszi hatarhoz egesz kozel. A fo celom itt az volt, hogy felesegul vegyek egy ladyboyt a hires Feher Templomban.
Minden ladyboy elkelt aznap, de azert lottem nehany fotot errol az elkepeszto epitmenyrol. Valojaban ket epitmenytol, mert volt egy nem vart kellemes meglepetes is a Feher Templom szomszedsagaban.
A Feher Templom vagy Wat Rong Khun egy nemregiben emelt buddhista templom, amely formajaban teljesen egyedulallo a vilagon. Elso korben at kell kelned az Ujjaszuletes Korforgasa hidon, ami egy kis tavat ivel at, amiben hatalmas pontyok uszkalnak (Zee, ide is visszajovunk bojlizni!!!). Mielott fellepsz a hidra, rengeteg groteszk egbemarkolo kezet latsz, ami a fektelen gyonyort szimbolizalja. A feher templom utan rogton megpillantottam egy szepseges arany epuletet, amirol megtudtam, hogy az anyagi oromoket jelkepezi. E mellett a feher templom tanitasa, hogy inkabb az elmedre fokuszalj, mint az anyagi javakra.
